Do you think that E&S are the first initials of the folks who own this lower east side grocery store?

Nice try, but the real reason for the initials is more practical than that -- it is the geography baby. This 1900 square foot store is located on Essex at Stanton Street. This retail food store specializes in natural and organic products and fresh fruit (see the display photo on the right).

They offer fruit smoothies, wraps and sandwiches. Need a quick check for the latest news or your email? E&S also features an internet cafe with several computers. Open to serve you breakfast, lunch and dinner!

Skipping 2011 for a variety of reasons, the renowned festival of all-things-pickle wll re-emerge from its short hiatus on April 29, 2012, a Sunday.
