How about one of the friendly neighborhood places where everybody knows your name? Corny huh?

OK, how about a place where no one cares what your name is? Ah, ha! That's more like it. Boss Tweed's is a fun loving casual place to tie on a few drinks anytime of the day or night. No fights please. No crying, just set 'em up Joe and keep it coming.

Yeah, we say no crying, but now and then a late night heart gets broken and someone looks at someone the wrong way and well, if you have been to one of these kind of places anywhere in the world you know how it goes. Boss Tweed's is well set up in the neighborhood -- happy hour specials, ladies nights, bar games tournaments (Flip Cup for charity, shown below). Come on down!

February 2012 -- Great Pickle Days Ahead!! International Pickle Day will return to the Lower East Side of Manhattan in the Spring of 2012.

Skipping 2011 for a variety of reasons, the renowned festival of all-things-pickle wll re-emerge from its short hiatus on April 29, 2012, a Sunday.

Let's hope for beautiful weather and plenty of pickle fans.
