The idea of Pala Pizza is to sit down, spend some time and enjoy your pizza. They offer artisnal pizza that borders on pizza cuisine. Her is a sampling of the pizzas they offer:

• etna • eggplant, cherry tomato sauce, mozzarella topped with ricotta salata, basil • bisi • sweet peas, pancetta, tomato sauce, parmigiano cheese • acetaia • pumpkin puree, mozzarella, parmigiano cheese shavings, parsley, 40yr basalmic vinegar •

This is not a pizzeria, but a nice little restaurant with crafted pizzas as a part, but not all, of its menu offerings.

Skipping 2011 for a variety of reasons, the renowned festival of all-things-pickle wll re-emerge from its short hiatus on April 29, 2012, a Sunday.
